Job Description

I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

We are seeking an experienced Airtable Administrator to join our growing organization. This individual will play an integral role in designing cross-departmental workflows that improve collaboration, operational efficiency, and data flow across teams. The role will partner closely with revenue, content, production, and project teams to translate business needs into scalable Airtable solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of Airtable’s platform and technical capabilities, including integrations with other systems, to build efficient, sustainable workflows.

II. Essential Job Functions

 

  • Design and build advanced Airtable bases, data structures, automations, and interfaces that leverage Airtable’s low-code capabilities and, where needed, incorporate custom scripting and technical components such as JavaScript, JSON, and HTML.

  • Partner with stakeholders to map current workflows, identify pain points, define requirements, and deliver scalable solutions that reduce manual work and improve efficiency

  • Partner with internal teams to develop process documentation that supports implementation, adoption, and long-term maintenance of solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to develop and implement API connections that support data pipelines and system integrations.

  • Work with AI partners to integrate AI-enabled processes into Airtable workflows and improve efficiency.

  • Establish and maintain best practices for data integrity, governance, and scalability across systems

  • Support enterprise Airtable administration, including user governance, permissions, and data compliance.

  • Contribute to a broader systems strategy that connects Airtable with in-house and third-party tools used for content creation, distribution, reporting, and analysis. 

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be consdered.

  • 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, consulting, systems implementation, or a related field supporting enterprise SaaS platforms.

  • Proven track record of project management, including leading cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation.

  • Deep understanding of Airtable, including automations, interfaces, integrations, and API fundamentals such as REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP methods.

  • Strong knowledge of database design, systems thinking, and governance best practices.

  • Ability to understand how systems and workflows can enable or hinder business processes

  • Demonstrated interest in understanding how business systems and workflows interact across the organization.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams with different areas of expertise.

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting between projects in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid 3x a week- (New York) 

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $120,000 - $140,000

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees.
