The Cabin Interior Business Line designs and manufactures First and Business Class passenger seats marketed under the STELIA Aerospace brand for the world’s most prestigious airlines, and is currently facing significant production ramp-ups and major industrial challenges
As the Head of Cabin Programmes & Maintenance, you will hold full management accountability for the Cabin Interior Business Line (specifically Business Class and First Class seating), reporting directly to the VP HO Cabin Interior, and part of the BU Steering Committee. You will drive the business from the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage through to Program Management and Customer Support/Maintenance.
Your core mission is to conduct profitable and sustainable business, ensuring products and services are delivered on time, on cost, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the primary interface for major international airlines, managing strategic relationships and securing the Profit & Loss (P&L) objectives of the Business Line.
1. End-to-End Programme Management & Strategy
Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects, managing interdependencies and priority conflicts to ensure seamless delivery.
P&L Accountability: Ensure all programme targets (financial objectives, profitability, cash flow) are met while respecting company commitments.
Product Strategy: Propose, develop, and apply the product policy and strategy for the Cabin Interior BL in cooperation with HO Sales & Marketing.
Operative Plan: Secure and steer the operative plan defined with the VP of Cabin Interior, optimizing resources and arbitrating risks/opportunities.
Performances : Ensure the OTD and OQD of all the programmes
2. Customer Relationship & Business Development
Key Account Management: Manage daily relationships with Tier-1 international airlines (e.g., Air France, Lufthansa Group, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Etihad...).
Contract Management: Lead high-level negotiations, manage contracts, handle claims, and manage escalations to maintain trust and partnership.
Business Growth: Lead the Bid Response / RFP teams to secure new business and ensure the continued growth of the Cabin Interior activity.
3. Customer Support & Maintenance Leadership
Service Excellence: Manage the Customer Support team dedicated to airlines currently operating our products.
Maintenance Oversight: Ensure the "Maintenance" and "In-Service" aspects meet customer expectations regarding reactivity and technical solutions.
Performances : Ensure the deliveries on Time and on Quality of the Spares parts. Define, pilot and monitor the inventories. Secure the economics related to all the spares and support activities.
4. Team Leadership & Organization
Team Building: Build, develop, and mentor a robust, experienced, and multi-cultural team of ~10 professionals.
Performance Culture: Drive a culture of delivery excellence, focusing on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance across the department.
Program Performance: On-time delivery (OTD), Quality (OQD), and adherence to Non-Recurring Costs (NRC) and Recurring Costs (RC).
Financials: Achievement of the Business Line P&L and Operative Plan targets (Revenues, EBIT and FCF)
Customer Satisfaction: successful entry into service (EIS) and efficient in-service support (Customer feedback/NPS).
Win Rate: Success rate of RFPs and growth of the order book in cooperation with HO Sales & Marketing
Experience & Background:
Industry Knowledge: Significant experience (>10 years) in the Aerospace industry, specifically within Cabin Interiors (Business/First Class seating environment is mandatory).
Management: Proven and successful track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex programmes.
Skills & Competencies:
Customer Oriented: Strong ability to manage demanding airline customers and complex contractual relationships.
Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of P&L management, business planning, and risk management.
Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and arbitrate in a fast-paced environment.
Language: Fluent English and French is mandatory (B2 level as a minimum requirement).
