Lead and supervise a team of Air Freight customer service representatives.
Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure a high level of customer service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely updates.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing air cargo, including customs requirements, security measures, and dangerous goods regulations.
Ensure efficient coordination with other departments to meet customer demands and expectations
Proactively identify and address customer issues, working closely with the operations team to find timely solutions.
Collaborate with the Air Freight Manager Andean Region and other departments, such as sales to ensure excellent customer experience.
Implement corrective measures to prevent recurring issues and improve overall customer service quality.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and set targets for the customer service team
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
Ensure compliance with Maersk internal regulations governing air cargo, compliance and others
Collaborate with other departments and offices within the company to ensure efficient and effective operations across all regions and services.
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading logistics operations teams.
At least 2 years of experience within air logistics operations environments.
Experience with CargoWise is desirable.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications.
Upper‑intermediate level of English, with the ability to hold professional conversations.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing or uncertain environments.
Strong goal‑oriented mindset with a clear focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
