Role Purpose

As a key contributor within our Air organization, this role focuses on successfully implementing new customers in close collaboration with Sales, Operations (OPS), Customer Experience (CX), and the customer. You will also play a central role in designing, improving, and scaling air freight operational processes that enable efficient, high-quality, and customer-centric operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Implementation & Onboarding

  • Partner with Sales, OPS/CX, and customers to lead end-to-end customer implementations.

  • Engage directly with customers to understand their business needs, operational requirements, and success criteria.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Air Operations, Tender Management, IT, and other support functions to align solutions.

  • Design tailored operational solutions and coordinate their implementation across all involved teams.

  • Create and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring seamless origin and destination processes.

  • Provide post-implementation hypercare to stabilize operations and ensure a smooth transition into business-as-usual.

Operational Process Design & Improvement

  • Design, review, and continuously improve new and existing air freight operational processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Develop practical solutions that support Operations and other teams, such as smarter workflows, enhanced reporting, or process automation.

  • Drive the implementation of new processes, tools, and solutions, including structured hypercare and performance monitoring.

  • Act as a change enabler, ensuring adoption and long-term effectiveness of new ways of working.

Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Support

  • Lead and support a wide range of projects within the Air organization and across the wider business.

  • Contribute to initiatives across diverse topics, including FinOps, Quality, Pricing, Operations, Customer Experience (CX), and more.

  • Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Critical Competencies & Skills

  • Strong organizational and structuring skills, with the ability to manage complexity.

  • Proven stakeholder management skills across multiple teams and seniority levels.

  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.

  • Solid understanding of air freight and operational processes is highly desirable.
