The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning SME to join our program supporting our US government customer’s financial management processes and systems. As member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced AI solutions. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement AI solutions across our enclave of classified and unclassified environments
Participate as a member of a team of AI engineers and data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality AI solutions
Develop and execute the AI strategy in alignment with business objectives, identifying opportunities for AI integration across various domains
Participate in AI pilot programs from conception to execution
Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models, algorithms, and deep learning architectures to solve complex business problems.
Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
Present AI findings, progress, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems
Provide technical expertise and guidance on AI technologies and best practices
Contribute to full-stack development projects
Optimize AI models for performance and scalability
Oversee the deployment of AI models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies, conducting research to identify innovative solutions and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors degree in STEM discipline.
Minimum 10 years SDLS experience
3+ years machine learning model development experience
Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for AI deployment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Current Security+ certification
Minimum current DoD Secret clearance
Must be US citizen
Desired:
Experience implementing Generative AI solutions
Experience deploying AI solutions to federal customers
Knowledge of big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
