Job Description:
Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive AI roadmap aligned with Sun Life Hong Kong's business strategy and priorities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities across different business units and functions
- Define clear success metric and OKRs for AI initiatives to measure business impact and ROI
- Stay current with AI trends, technologies, and best practices within the Finance and Insurance industry to inform strategic direction
Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership
- Partner with Business owners and Portfolio POs across the organization to understand pain points and identify AI-driven solutions
Accountability, Ownership & Delivery
- Own the pipeline / backlog for AI initiatives, ensuring prioritization reflects business value and strategic alignment
- Define clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI products and features
- Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and developers to ensure successful delivery of AI solutions
- Conduct regular sprint reviews and stakeholder demos to gather feedback and iterate on solutions
Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and ethical AI principles
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and legal teams to establish appropriate governance frameworks
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with AI implementations, including bias, fairness, and transparency concerns
- Establish quality standards and validation processes for AI models and solutions
- Translate complex technical AI concepts into business value propositions for senior stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Digital, IT, Data, operations, Regional Office and Corporate stakeholders.
- Present AI initiatives, progress updates, and recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees
