Principle accountabilities
We are seeking an AI Transformation Manager to support the application of artificial intelligence across our business. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that will partner with assigned departments to identify manual, time-intensive work and implement practical AI-driven solutions.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), this is a high-visibility role with significant upside for individuals who are well versed in using AI, eager to build, and motivated to drive real impact.
- Work closely with department leaders and team members to understand operational challenges to document workflows, with a focus on manual tasks, Excel-based processes, and repetitive analysis.
- Build and implement practical AI-driven solutions using tools such as Claude, and others to improve productivity, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Translate business needs into simple, usable AI workflows, and train team members on effective AI usage, including prompt writing, model creation, output validation, and appropriate use cases.
- Serve as a day-to-day resource for questions, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing AI support across teams.
- Share learnings and successful use cases to drive broader adoption across the organization.
- Ensure solutions align with internal policies and protect sensitive information.
- Ensure ultimate ROI for all AI use
- Follow established company guidelines for AI usage, data security, data privacy, and governance.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in AI tools and emerging technologies (Claude, ChatGPT) with a desire to apply them in real business scenarios required.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly and translate them into practical solutions.
- Experience in operations, project coordination, process improvement, training, or similar hands-on roles.
- Effective communicator with the ability to train, support, and influence team members across different departments.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or brokerage environments preferred but not required.
- Experience in RAG and context engineering would be a plus
- Experience in MCP and agentic AI would be a plus
- Experience in automating multi-step work activities using Claude Cowork would be a plus
- Must be located in Reno, NV.
