Job summary:

The Customer Content Services (CCS) team is looking for an innovative, AI experienced Strategist to define and drive the integration of Artificial Intelligence across the internal facets of our department. You will be responsible for translating the complex, rapidly evolving AI landscape into a clear, actionable strategy for our daily functions and content initiatives.

Our Technical Communications team is at a pivotal moment, evolving from a traditional content creation group into a strategic hub powered by Artificial Intelligence. We are searching for a visionary Strategist to help with this transformation. What you will do :

  • Develop and Drive our AI First Strategy: Create multi-phased AI roadmaps that balance quick wins (proofs-of-concept) with foundational, long-term investments.

  • Assess Organizational Readiness: Conduct continuous audits of data quality, existing technology infrastructure, and team skills to ensure the organization has the necessary foundations (data, platforms, and talent) to successfully deploy and scale AI solutions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with and communicate complex AI concepts to various stakeholders, including executives and technical teams, ensuring alignment and buy-in.

  • Lead Change Management and Adoption: Partner with department leaders to define new AI-powered workflows, train employees, and manage the organizational change required to integrate AI tools into daily functions, ensuring high user adoption and benefit realization.

  • Risk Management and Ethical AI Practices: Identify potential risks associated with Agentic AI deployment and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure AI solutions adhere to ethical guidelines and promote fairness, transparency, and accountability.

  • Share Best Practices: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), sharing use cases, successes, and lessons learned from the content department's AI implementations with other business units to accelerate enterprise-wide adoption.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, business analysis, content strategy, or a similar strategic role within a technology company.

  • Deep understanding of the technical communications field and the content creation lifecycle. You know what it takes to create great content, help us transform those processes leveraging AI  

  • A passion for innovation and technology. Direct AI/ML engineering experience is preferred as well as  a strong curiosity and understanding of how AI, machine learning, and NLP can be applied to content are essential.

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills. You can confidently articulate a vision and build consensus among stakeholders from the individual contributor to the executive level.

  • Experience in change management and leading teams through technological and cultural transformations is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $94,550.00 - $151,170.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
