About the Role:
The AI Solutions Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-driven solutions that improve workforce efficiency, security, and overall productivity. This position works closely with business stakeholders, IT, and functional teams to translate real-world challenges into practical, scalable AI applications.

Operating in a cloud-first enterprise environment, the AI Solutions Engineer integrates AI capabilities into existing business systems and workflows, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, and production-ready. The role balances strong technical execution with cross-functional collaboration, helping the organization realize measurable value from AI while supporting responsible and sustainable adoption.

Essential Duties

  • Design, build, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions that support business workflows and improve efficiency, security, and productivity.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate use cases into functional AI applications.

  • Contribute to AI solution roadmaps by providing technical input and feasibility assessments.

  • Develop and maintain prompt libraries, APIs, and integration components for generative AI and LLM-based solutions.

  • Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems and SaaS applications using APIs, automation tools, and cloud services.

  • Support pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives, iterating based on user feedback and performance metrics.

  • Ensure AI implementations align with established governance, security, and compliance standards.

  • Monitor solution performance, usage, and cost metrics; optimize for reliability and scalability.

  • Participate in design workshops, demos, and stakeholder discussions to support solution alignment and adoption.

  • Stay current with advancements in AI tools, platforms, and frameworks; recommend improvements where appropriate.

  • Document technical designs, implementation patterns, and best practices to support reuse and maintainability.

Experience & Skills Required

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, automation, data engineering, or AI/ML solution development within an enterprise environment.

  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI, generative AI, or LLM-based solutions in production or pilot environments.

  • Experience developing solutions leveraging Microsoft 365, Copilot, and the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to improve business workflows.

  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language commonly used for AI development (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).

  • Experience integrating solutions with enterprise systems and SaaS applications using APIs and automation tools.

  • Understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or similar AI implementation patterns.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
