We are currently hiring AI Software Interns for the Intel CAIGC team in Shanghai. CAIGC is a vibrant and energetic team filled with talent. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn new things, embrace challenges, and demonstrate strong teamwork. . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • AI Technology Research and Validation: Conduct research on emerging AI technologies (e.g., model quantization, graph structure transformation), and deploy and optimize proof-of-concept (PoC) projects on Intel platforms. • Large Language Model (LLM) Performance Evaluation and Tool Development: Perform performance testing on the latest LLMs on Intel platforms and develop functional modules for testing tools. • Performance Analysis and System Optimization: Analyze performance test results, identify software bottlenecks (e.g., operator latency, memory usage), and propose optimization strategies to improve inference speed and resource efficiency.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field • Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python or C/C++ • Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers • Experience with large language models and generative AI, with the ability and willingness to learn quickly • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset • Available to work 4-5 days per week, with a minimum internship duration of 3 consecutive months

The Software Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
