Our organization is dedicated to solving fundamental business challenges for corporate clients through the implementation and practical use of AI. Centered on AI products developed within Rakuten Group, such as Rakuten AI for Business, we drive the entire process for enterprise clients, from proposal development and deployment support to ongoing adoption and utilization. Our solutions are already being introduced across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, nursing care, manufacturing, and tourism. As we expand the delivery of AI products for enterprise clients, we are looking for talent who can lead proposal activities and drive the full cycle from opportunity creation and closing to successful implementation, while coordinating both internal and external stakeholders. This role goes beyond conventional sales activities and is expected to cover customer issue analysis, solution proposal design, implementation support, and the development of a scalable and repeatable sales model.
Position Details
Structure customer issues and define current-state and future-state business requirements, then design AI use cases and proposal stories
Develop account plans, manage pipelines, and formulate and execute sales strategies
Prepare proposals and presentation materials, present to decision-makers, and negotiate pricing and contract terms
Plan and drive PoC and implementation projects, including scope, KPIs, delivery structure, schedule, and risk management
Manage execution from proposal through implementation in collaboration with relevant internal departments
Standardize repeatable winning patterns by developing proposal templates, building case studies, preparing sales materials, and sharing knowledge across the organization
Work Environment
The team currently consists of just under 20 members, covering functions such as sales, customer enablement, business development, and product management. Each member plays a broad role in driving business growth, and the organization is expected to continue expanding in line with the growth of the corporate AI business.
Mandatory Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in sales or consulting for intangible B2B offerings such as SaaS, IT solutions, or consulting services
Practical experience in structuring customer issues, creating proposals and presentation materials, and leading deals through closing
Experience driving projects forward while coordinating multiple departments, including technical and legal teams
Japanese: business level or aboveDesired Qualifications:Sales experience in AI-related products or services
Experience in enterprise solution sales or presales, including responding to RFPs
Experience leading initiatives as a team leader or project manager
English: business level or above
