In partnership across stakeholders in the business & in Digital, this role demands a leader who can blend cutting-edge technology with creativity to bring forth solutions that meaningful engagement with our audiences as well as solutions that unlock potential for internal stakeholders leveraging AI.
The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading AI services & solution delivery across C4 for internal & external capabilities & driving the development of immersive experiences.
This role will also be responsible for standardizing AI technology for use across the OSS organization, applying Service Delivery and Service Design Lead principles to ensure consistency, scalability, and best practices in AI deployment. This position will serve as the main point of contact for business engagement, overseeing the transition of POCs/MVPs developed by FIT to OSS for ongoing implementation and scale-up.
A key strategic initiative will be to educate and advocate for the use of AI technologies across OSS, increasing engagement and adoption for both AI-driven and non-AI projects with the goal to elevate the quality and efficiency of all work streams within OSS.
In addition to the AI and Immersive focused responsibilities, this role will be responsible for leading a dedicated Engineering team and Design & UX function, providing subject matter leadership across the OSS organization to ensure consistency, quality and value in development and design practices.
What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Strategic Leadership in Content Innovation: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for leveraging generative AI and interactive content, ensuring alignment with the company's digital strategy and business and marketing objectives.
- Studio Management and Interactive Content Development: Lead and oversee a studio dedicated to the strategy, roadmap, standards and best practices for immersive experiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business and marketing teams to integrate AI-driven and innovative content solutions that enhance customer engagement, brand visibility, and market positioning. Collaborate with Digital to deliver solutions. Ensure collaboration between technical teams, creative staff, and business units for cohesive content strategies.
- External Innovation and Thought Leadership: Establish and maintain a systematic approach to monitor, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies and industry trends from outside the organization. Build relationships with external partners and thought leaders to ensure Pfizer remains at the forefront of innovation, and proactively identify opportunities to pilot or adopt breakthrough solutions that can drive business value.
- AI Technology Oversight and Integration: Manage the selection, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge content and generative AI technologies for use across patient and HCP initiatives and platforms. Ensure integration of these capabilities into content production and distribution workflows.
- Standardize AI technology deployment across OSS, ensuring all solutions adhere to Service Delivery and Service Design Lead principles. Partner with C4 organizations for the rapid stand-up of infrastructure and new policy adoption as the AI & technical landscape evolves Lead educational initiatives and advocacy campaigns to promote AI technology adoption throughout OSS, supporting both AI and non-AI projects. Serve as the engagement lead for FIT team collaborations, managing the rollout and expansion of POCs/MVPs into C4 operational environments.
- Content Quality and Compliance Management: Ensure solution use adheres to security, regulatory standards, industry best practices and internal policies.
- Innovation in Content Experiences: Stay ahead of industry trends in immersive technology and GenAI, leading initiatives to explore new applications of technology to drive our marketing efforts forward.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analytics to assess the effectiveness of AI-driven and interactive content. Make informed decisions to enhance content relevance, engagement, and impact of experiences.
- Ethical and Responsible AI Use: Promote ethical AI practices, ensuring transparency and respect for privacy and data security.
- Team Leadership and TalentDevelopment: Build, lead, and mentor a diverse team, including AI specialists, content creators, VR/AR developers, and digital strategists. Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with key stakeholders, advocating for the integration of interactive and immersive technologies in content strategy. Communicate the value and impact of these initiatives effectively.
- Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the budget and resources for Gen AI and content innovation projects, ensuring efficient use of funds and maximization of ROI.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Extensive relevant experience
- Ability to assimilate new technologies and concepts as needed. Marketing Technology (MarTech) and GenAI skills are a must and experience both operating, overseeing and developing new MarTech and GenAI solutions is an advantage. Must be able to grasp the right level of technical skills required to make key tactical decisions for the group, if required.
- Demonstrated progressive experience successfully designing, delivering and maintaining Information Technology business solutions for mid to large-scale organizations across multiple hardware and software platforms
- Proven ability to manage to financial goals, both in own area, and in support of a larger entity.
- Ability to lead in a complex, matrix environment with indirect resources geographically distributed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences
- Strong people management experience
- Should possess strategic thinking skills to align actions with long-term goals, anticipate future trends, and make decisions that contribute to the overall success of the organization
- Experience in standardizing technology solutions and leading organizational change initiatives.
- Prior experience in educating and advocating for technology adoption across large organizations.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- A Master's degree
- Experience in leading and developing senior-level resources to deliver on business priorities
- Ability to act as a strategic advisor on key Enterprise initiatives and influence senior leadership
- Experience in fostering a culture of inclusion and knowledge sharing, supporting colleague development, and leveraging organizational capabilities
- Ability to create an environment promoting continuous improvement and innovation, and determine acceptable risk levels
