AI Fellow, Executive Enablement

Ibotta is seeking an AI Fellow to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As a participant in our AI Fellowship, you will have a direct hand in helping to shape Ibotta’s AI adoption strategy. In this role, you will support one of our C-level executives and their leadership team to identify opportunities to develop and implement transformational AI solutions within the business. In addition to your company placement, you will also participate in a statewide cohort of AI Fellows, collaborating with peers and contributing to Colorado’s broader AI ecosystem.

This will be a full-time, 12 week, fellowship during the summer of 2026. This is a hybrid position located in Denver, Colorado and requires 3 days in-office per week. Required in-office hybrid days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing: 

  • Partner directly with a C-level executive and their leadership team to identify opportunities to enhance individual and team productivity through AI

  • Conduct workflow audits across functions to best identify high impact use cases where AI can improve efficiency, quality, speed, or scalability

  • Design automated workflows to elevate  decision-making, execution, and operational oversight

  • Prototype AI enabled tools, workflows, automations, or copilots using existing AI platforms, APIs, and automation tools

  • Educate leadership teams on AI capabilities, risks, and responsible use

  • Develop internal documentation, playbooks, and best practices

What we are looking for:  

  • Students currently pursuing, or recent graduates with, a degree in computer science, data science, business, economics, business analytics, or related field. Undergraduate and graduate degrees will both be considered

  • Strong business acumen, creative problem solving, and analytical thinking skills

  • Comfort working with senior leaders and executives

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to speak to technical concepts to non technical audiences

  • Confidence in navigating ambiguity and operating independently

  • Fundamental knowledge of software design and development best practices

  • Familiarity working within a modern tech stack (Python, Java, Typescript, Vue, etc.), data stores (SQL, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.)

  • Experience working with AI agents and AI engineering concepts like LLMs, Evaluations and Prompting

  • Exposure to workflow automation tools like n8n is a plus

  • Demonstrable experience building analytical projects, automation workflows, and/or AI prototypes

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay and housing assistance for out of state students. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.

  • The hourly compensation for this role starts at $35.00 to $40.00 per hour worked. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market.
