Work with Product, Technology, Data Science and Racing Analytics to define and deliver business impacting projects.
Design, Develop, Test and Launch solutions and experiments
Mentor and guide peers via code reviews, dev sessions and pair-programming. Provide guidance with process design
Estimate the effort required for the project implementation
Map end-to-end business processes as part of solutions
Update and maintain Developer Standards around best practices with emerging technologies
Engage with partnering teams to define the best approach to implementation
Seek to improve, optimize and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality
Keep on top of emerging technologies and identify areas of opportunity
Experience in developing LLM-based applications leveraging them to tackle business problems
Experience across different programming languages including Python, C#, JAVA
Familiarity with building applications using ML.
Be able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Work cooperatively and partner collaboratively with others across the organisation to get work done
Ability to improve, optimize and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and persuasively to non-technical stakeholders.
Curiosity & passion in technology: Adaptability to new technologies and stays up to date with what is available on the market.
Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
A passion for sports and experience of working with sports data
Operational experience and knowledge are an advantage.
Fluency in English
A deep level of horse racing knowledge: experience with working with horse racing data and a knowledge of the nuances of the sport, including a familiarity with Timeform and Sporting Life
Technology and/or consulting background: Ideally previous experience in consulting and technology environment that has helped drive transformation.
Technical expertise: background and knowledge API’s, AI, NLP and experience with GitHub. Understanding of various architectural frameworks and design patterns.
