AI Enablement Specialist
Job Summary
OpenEye is seeking an AI Enablement Specialist to lead the adoption and integration of artificial intelligence across the company. This role partners with teams, leaders, and departments to identify where AI can enhance workflows, automate processes, and unlock new efficiencies.
The AI Enablement Specialist will educate, inspire, and empower employees to confidently use our AI tools, including MCP and agentic systems, while applying light-touch governance to ensure safe, ethical, and compliant use. They will guide teams through the mindset and workflow shifts that come with new technology, reducing resistance, building excitement, and embedding AI into everyday work.

You will contribute to and help execute forward‑looking AI strategies in partnership with organizational leadership, ensuring initiatives align with business goals and governance principles. Role and Responsibilities
Enablement (Primary)
- Partner across all departments to identify and implement AI‑driven workflow improvements.
- Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and resources to foster AI fluency across all roles and levels.
- Provide hands‑on prompt engineering guidance to help teams achieve consistent, high‑value outputs from AI tools.
- Maintain and prioritize an AI Opportunity Backlog for future MCP‑based and agentic solutions.
- Serve as the internal “voice for AI” by building enthusiasm and encouraging a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Guide teams through the cultural and workflow changes that come with AI adoption to ensure long‑term success.
- Oversee AI tool and vendor management by evaluating, consolidating, and tracking approved solutions to reduce redundancy, control costs, and share successful tools across teams.
- Document AI‑related workflow improvements across all teams to create a clear record of adoption progress.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure AI adoption and assess overall business impact.
Light‑Touch Governance (Secondary)
- Draft and maintain clear, concise AI usage guidelines for internal teams.
- Educate employees on safe, responsible, and ethical AI practices during enablement activities.
- Act as the first-line reviewer for new AI workflows to ensure compliance with data, privacy, and security policies.
- Maintain a simple record of approved AI workflows for transparency and organizational visibility.
- Liaise with IT and Compliance on higher-risk or regulated use cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, data science, or a related field; OR equivalent practical experience in AI-enabled workflow design, training, and adoption.
- Proven ability to translate technical AI capabilities into real-world business value.
- Hands-on experience designing and refining prompts for large language models.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading change initiatives and fostering adoption of new processes or tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
