This role sits within the AI Acceleration Office, which coordinates all AI activity across the Group,  including the AI Acceleration plan, AI adoption, and education. The Office plays a central role in enabling the responsible and efficient scaling of AI across the organisation.

Do work that matters

The Acceleration Office is seeking an experienced Manager to join our award-winning, globally recognised AI team. This role is helping to increase the transparency on Gen AI work being done across the organisation, raising the ambition on Gen AI within BU and SU crews, chapters, and CoEs, and putting pressure into the system to deliver our org-wide Gen AI plan with increased velocity.

The Manager will help orchestrate delivery across AI acceleration enablers and ensure effective execution of AI initiatives across the Group. This role will focus on driving alignment, tracking progress, and resolving impediments that impact enterprise-wide AI enablement.

You’ll work across multiple domains and with senior stakeholders to manage delivery interdependencies, simplify processes, and ensure momentum toward the Group’s AI acceleration objectives.

Role responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement process simplification opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and reduce complexity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate delivery tracking and reporting to provide transparency on progress, risks, and key achievements.
  • Provide insights and thought leadership on AI developments and their implications for delivery processes and operations.
  • Curate and present progress updates and performance dashboards to leadership forums.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture that values collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

What you bring:

  • Strong relationship-building and leadership skills with the ability to influence at an Executive level, both internal and external to CBA.
  • Extensive experience in delivery management, managing stakeholder relationships and driving towards outcomes.
  • Knowledge of change management strategies and how to drive change throughout the organisation when it comes to Technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement simplification initiatives in large, complex environments.
