Job Title

AI, Data & Technology Analyst

About your role:

The AI, Data & Technology Analyst supports the evaluation, research, and practical application of AI, data, and technology capabilities that drive measurable enterprise value. Positioned within Strategic Finance & Operations (SFO), this role works closely with senior leadership to translate emerging AI and technology developments into scalable, practical opportunities across the organization. This is an operator-oriented role focused on execution, judgment, and impact.

What you'll do:

  • Research AI models, tools, platforms, and agent frameworks with a focus on real-world applicability, scalability, and economic impact.
  • Support identification and evaluation of high-value AI use cases across finance, operations, technology, product, and risk.
  • Prototype and test AI workflows and agents to assess feasibility and practical value.
  • Conduct technology vendor assessments and technical diligence — evaluating solutions against real business requirements and separating substance from hype.
  • Support broader technology strategy work, including tool evaluations, build-vs-buy assessments, and emerging technology monitoring.
  • Map and maintain an understanding of Fiserv’s data landscape across business units to support AI effectiveness, consolidation planning, and strategic data initiatives.
  • Translate technical concepts and tradeoffs (cost, latency, reliability, accuracy) into clear, practical insights for leadership.
  • Support leadership on strategic priorities outside of AI and technology when required — SFO operates horizontally and every team member contributes across initiatives.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in AI, data, technology strategy, analytics, product, finance, operations, or a related business function with responsibility for evaluating and applying technology to business problems
  • Experience researching, assessing, and communicating findings on emerging technologies, tools, platforms, or vendors for business decision-making
  • Experience translating technical tradeoffs, including cost, latency, reliability, and model accuracy, into clear recommendations for stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, data science, computer science, information systems, analytics, or a related field

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience evaluating AI use cases in finance, operations, product, risk, or enterprise technology environments
  • Experience supporting build-versus-buy decisions, vendor diligence, or technology strategy initiatives
  • Experience assessing enterprise data environments to support AI adoption, data consolidation, or strategic data planning
  • Experience working in ambiguous environments where work products inform senior leadership decisions

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Sponsorship:

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Benefits at Fiserv:

  • Fuel Your Life program to support your physical, financial, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Paid holidays and generous time away policies.
  • No-cost mental health support through Employee Assistance Programs.
  • Living Proof program to recognize your peers’ extra effort with points redeemable for rewards.
  • Eight Employee Resource Groups to foster a collaborative culture and expand your network.
  • Unparalleled professional growth with training, development, and internal mobility opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options available from day one.
  • Retirement planning and discounted shares with the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Tuition assistance and reimbursement program.
  • Paid parental, caregiver, and military leave.
