Department Overview
Our organization is dedicated to solving fundamental business challenges for corporate clients through the implementation and practical use of AI.
We take an end-to-end approach, covering AI product and service planning, value proposition and specification design, sales model development, operational design, and business feasibility assessment.
By working closely with internal stakeholders across development, sales, legal, and security, we drive both the launch and expansion of new services. A key attraction of this position is the opportunity to lead the commercialization of AI services for enterprise clients by leveraging Rakuten Group’s business assets and customer touchpoints.

Position Details
・Service Design (commercializing AI products)
Plan new AI services and improve existing services
Define service specifications and requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements, security, and operational requirements
Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs, and clarify positioning
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, development, legal, and vendors
Evaluate business feasibility, including P/L projections and cost-effectiveness
Design operational workflows for implementation, support, incident handling, and continuous improvement cycles
・Business Design (building GTM and sales mechanisms)
Design and manage KPIs, and standardize and improve sales processes
Join proposals for initial customers and develop case studies
Plan and execute promotional initiatives
Design pricing and packaging and define sales terms and conditions
Prepare proposal templates and strengthen sales enablement materials
Work Environment
The team currently consists of just under 20 members, covering functions such as sales, customer enablement, business development, and product management.
Each member plays a broad role in driving business growth, and the organization is expected to continue expanding in line with the growth of the corporate AI business.
Mandatory Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in planning roles within the IT industry
Experience in business development, sales planning, or solution sales for corporate clients
Experience driving projects while coordinating multiple stakeholders
Basic understanding of AI
Japanese: business level or above
English: daily conversation level or above
Desired Qualifications
Experience planning AI-related products or services, including generative AI
Experience in B2B SaaS product planning, pricing design, and contract/terms or operational design
Experience launching services through partnerships or alliances with external companies
English: business level or above
