Our Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) team is passionately committed to strengthening Australian Agribusiness and the financial wellbeing of regional communities.

Based in Townsville or Cairns, you’ll manage a diversified Agribusiness portfolio across North Queensland, working closely with clients on-farm, in-market, in-office, and remotely.

We embrace flexibility — balancing the needs of our clients, our team, and life outside of work — while staying deeply connected to the communities we serve.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Build and nurture deep, trusted client relationships, gaining a strong understanding of each business and its ambitions
  • Retain and grow your portfolio by identifying opportunities to support clients through expansion, succession, investment, and change
  • Partner with product and risk specialists to deliver end‑to‑end banking and financial solutions
  • Lead deal strategy and execution, including origination, structuring, negotiation, and credit ownership
  • Proactively manage risk while enabling sustainable client growth

  • Have strong experience leading complex Agribusiness or commercial deals, including structuring and negotiation

  • Are confident in financial analysis and credit decisioning, with a strong understanding of cash‑flow drivers and seasonal dynamics
