Job Description

  • Oversee entire delivery lifecycle of Single Family New Technology Adoption (SFNTA) products from inception to engineering to supporting app teams with product adoption.
  • Identify broader problems in Single Family (SF) delivery and recommend automation improvements. Lead developers to ensure timely and high quality product delivery.
  • Understand the vision of the SF modernization, and partner with SFNTA Chief Tech Lead, Product Owner, and BTO application technology leaders to create SFNTA roadmaps and backlogs that promote modernization of SF applications.
  • Research available technologies, tools, and patterns to create, engineer, and roll out the best solution based on predetermined roadmaps.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with application and infrastructure teams, as well as Technical Leads, to collaborate on solution development and guide them in the adoption of SFNTA-deployed products.
  • Lead team effectively and efficiently to meet delivery milestones.
  • Develop a strong engineering team that builds high quality products and provides outstanding support.
  • Support the growth of junior developers through mentorship and training.
  • Position may be eligible for part time telecommuting.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field followed by eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in a software development or IT engineering occupation. The required experience must include:

  • 5 years of experience in DevOps and Automation using cloud technologies, such as, but not limited to, AWS, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes/Amazon EKS, Jenkins, Groovy DSL, Ansible, Chef, ELK, Maintain & Enhance Elasticsearch Clusters, optimize indexes, Build Dashboards, Terraform, or CFTs.
  • 3 years of experience with observability and monitoring tools, such as Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
  • 3 years of experience developing DevOps linting rules to govern development and DevOps best practices.
  • 3 years of experience in application development using Java, JavaScript or Python.
  • 3 years of experience in Agile methodology

40 hours per week 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $154,000 - $230,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
