Job Description

  • Understand the strategic direction of product and deliver value through effective development techniques.
  • Implement end-to-end metadata lineage and data governance solutions.
  • Identify optimization scenarios and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Work with business SMEs and identified project partners to develop functional, non-functional, operational, and data quality requirements for Data Governance, Metadata, and Data Quality, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop integration capabilities between Collibra and various data sources/systems, including on-premises and AWS cloud environments, using MuleSoft AnyPoint studio and Collibra APIs ensuring Collibra is a central governing mechanism.
  • Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading mappings using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and Collibra APIs to extract metadata from multiple source systems, such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MongoDB, Denodo, Hadoop, etc. into the Collibra data governance platform.
  • Work with business areas, data custodians, and application data owners to maintain the metadata refresh activities for all production data.
  • Perform analysis of schema changes in production databases and data resources, update the existing mappings in Collibra, and refresh the metadata in Collibra.
  • Contribute to and lead both recurring and ad-hoc development tasks within the Data Governance and Data Quality capabilities.
  • Develop application interfaces via APIs.
  • Create and configure Collibra DIC meta-model, assets relationships, domains, and communities.
  • Implement Collibra DIC, workflows lineage, and related components.
  • Conduct training sessions on importing and exporting data assets into Collibra.
  • Support all phases of the project development lifecycle using SDLC and Agile project methodologies.
  • Provide production support and resolve systems issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Position may be eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field plus 3 years of experience in software development or data engineering occupation required. Experience must include:

  • 3 years of experience working with Collibra Data Governance Center (“DGC”) product including workflow development.
  • 3 years of experience working with MuleSoft Anypoint integration platform.
  • 3 years of experience working with database SQLs.
  • 2 years of experience working with AWS Services.
  • 2 years of experience working with Python, Java, and Unix.
  • 2 years of experience working with Scrum and JIRA.

OR

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a software development or data engineering occupation required. Experience must include:

  • 3 years of experience working with Collibra DGC product including workflow development.
  • 3 years of experience working with MuleSoft Anypoint integration platform.
  • 3 years of experience working with database SQLs.
  • 2 years of experience working with AWS Services.
  • 2 years of experience working with Python, Java, and Unix.
  • 2 years of experience working with Scrum and JIRA.

*Will accept educational equivalency evaluation prepared by a qualified credential evaluation service.

40 hours per week 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $129,000 - $193,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
