Agile Delivery Lead

The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for ensuring smooth execution of strategic initiatives within the Business & Technology Enablement (BTE) organization. This role blends agile facilitation with delivery coordination, working across enterprise architecture, engineering, and business teams to keep initiatives organized, visible, and progressing.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

Agile Delivery Facilitation

  • Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives).

  • Support agile practices across architecture and transformation teams.

  • Ensure priorities are clear and achievable; remove delivery impediments.

Strategic Initiative Coordination

  • Support initiatives related to the Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDL) and product operating model.

  • Help organize planning activities (e.g., PI planning, cross-team sessions).

  • Identify/manage cross-team dependencies.

Architecture Initiative Support

  • Coordinate activities across enterprise and product architecture teams.

  • Track and report on architecture initiatives and governance activities (e.g., Architecture Review Board).

  • Maintain visibility and alignment across architecture domains.

Work Management & Reporting

  • Maintain initiative backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery plans.

  • Track progress using delivery tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).

  • Provide regular progress and risk reporting to leadership.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Facilitate communication between architecture, engineering, and business stakeholders.

  • Ensure effective communication of architecture guidance and transformation initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

  • Promote agile best practices and delivery improvements.

  • Support evolution of delivery practices and operating model

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in the delivery of technology initiatives in enterprise environments

  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required.

  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. 

  • Demonstrated experience in Agile Professional role (Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, etc.).

  • Project Management or Business Analyst experience in an Agile environment.

  • Experience with agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

  • Strong organizational, facilitation, and communication skills.

  • Experience with tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • One or more Agile certifications such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP),  Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), Certified Scrum Practitioner-Scrum Master (CSP-SM), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  • Knowledge of the CMMI Level 3 process model.

  • Understanding of industry-standard software languages.

  • Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycle.

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

  • Experience with enterprise architecture or transformation initiatives.

  • Familiarity with product operating models, platform engineering, or architecture governance.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.

  • Frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Occasional travel may be required to support project needs and team collaboration.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
