OKC Operations currently supports the Military aftermarket maintenance and overhaul of modules/engines for the F117, F119, and F135 programs including logistical operations and STC. This organization is key to the future of Military Engines, the national defense of the United States, and the continued relationship between P&W and USAF given our location at Building 3001 Tinker Air Force Base. The Aftermarket Production Coordinator (APC) role is critical to the success of F Operations Program.

What You Will Do:

  • APC’s(Aftermarket Production Coordinator) work assigned modules through Gates 1-4.
  • Coordinate the creation and maintenance of project plans for each module to track work progress, identify future roadblocks, and forecast completion.
  • Responsible for keeping the module on schedule by executing forward looking planning to prevent issues, get issues that do come up resolved in a timely manner, and escalating urgent issues to Operations leadership.
  • Represent module status in production meetings including providing updates that represent a full picture of the factual module status and highlighting critical path issues.
  • Accountable for closure of gate specific tasks prior to gate forecasted closure date.
  • Document all work-stops and inefficiencies through Constraint card turnback entries.
  • Recommend, participate in, and drive closure of CORE process improvement efforts to reduce systemic issues affecting the efficiency of the system or the quality of the product.
  • Be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift and possibly weekends.

Qualifications You Must Have:                                                                                    

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years. Experience to include:
  • 3+ years’ experience in developing, implementing, and managing projects in a complex environment, strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze information from different sources and combine into one cohesive message for dissemination and familiarity with government and/or commercial depot or repair operations.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

         

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience leading through influence.
  • Ability to use MS Project.
  • Familiarity with HMC’s in a production, overhaul, or manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and other analytical tools.
  • Ability to use the CORE operating system to apply lean techniques in an overhaul environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills coupled with global business perspective.
  • Experience with using Solumina and SAP.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
