Job Title: Affordable Housing Investments - Senior Asset Manager

Position Description
The individual will be tasked to lead asset management responsibilities for primarily multifamily properties, both debt and equity. This includes working closely with other asset managers to closely monitor and report periodically on the overall debt and equity portfolio. This individual will also work closely with the underwriting team to assist with capital calls when transactions are ready to fund and manage the assets after funding. Working closely with internal and external partners to identify issues early on and work with their manager to propose viable solutions to address identified issues, when necessary. The position will require consistency of approach to solutions and managing the portfolio in a manner that minimizes negative impacts or losses.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead asset management for a diverse national portfolio of multifamily properties, ensuring optimal performance and compliance
- Asset manage LIHTC debt and equity transactions, applying deep understanding of program requirements and deal structures
- Monitor and analyze assets across debt and equity portfolios, driving informed decision-making
- Partner with loan servicing teams to collect and analyze property operating data
- Generate annual risk ratings and other portfolio performance summary reports
- Build strong relationships with external partners, developers, and operators, proactively requesting and evaluating property data to support strategic objectives
- Support capital call processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution of funding requirements
- Present to investment committee to communicate deal progress, surface critical issues, and support informed credit decisions
- Occasional travel may be required
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of commercial real estate debt experience in multifamily
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or Finance
- Experience with both LIHTC debt and equity
- Knowledge of affordable and workforce housing industry including LIHTC is helpful but not required
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience in portfolio construction lending is a plus

Base Salary Range: $155,000- $210,000 and additional incentive compensation.
