Affiliate Strategic Planning Manager (Creator Growth Business)

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Affiliate Strategist to lead and scale our client's affiliate marketing performance. This role requires a deep understanding of the eCommerce ecosystem and a proven ability to translate data into actionable, high-impact affiliate strategies. The ideal candidate excels at cross-functional leadership, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams and external partners to consistently exceed client performance targets

 

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for affiliate data analysis. Independently perform deep-dive analysis on performance metrics (e.g., ERR, GMV, GPM, CTR) to diagnose issues and uncover strategic opportunities.
  • Establish clear KPIs and affiliate tiring and offering models for each assigned campaign or client account. Proactively monitor performance against targets and implement real-time strategic adjustments ("adjust on the go") to ensure targets are consistently hit or surpassed.
  • Lead the development of performance reports, clearly articulating key insights, strategic rationale, and next steps for both internal and external review.
  • Act as the central point of collaboration, fostering strong working relationships between key internal teams: Planner. Account Managers, Shop Managers (for site merchandising/product availability), and the Affiliate Creator/Publisher Team.
  • Drive alignment on strategic goals, ensuring all internal teams are executing initiatives that support the overarching affiliate strategy and client objectives.

 

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience specifically in Affiliate Marketing or Performance-focus industry e.g. finance, investment, preferably within an agency or high-growth in-house eCommerce environment.
  • Have minimum 5 years-experience of Strategic Planning.
  • Demonstrable, strong understanding of the full eCommerce lifecycle, conversion funnels, and the role of affiliate marketing in a broader digital mix.
  • Exceptional logical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to self-serve data analysis using tools like Excel/Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and network reporting platforms.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding aggressive performance targets through strategic program management and tactical pivots.
  • Superior stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex strategies to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior client leadership.
  • Experience managing budgets and CIR responsibility for affiliate programs is a plus.
