Join in Anti Financial Crime Team as Monitoring Junior Analyst for analyzing - within the second-line controls organization - escalations related to unusual or suspicious behavior and transactions, according to Italian Financial Intelligence Unit provisions. The analyst collaborates in maintaining an effective and responsive anti-money laundering governance framework on an independent basis from business.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Investigate and assess TM alerts for potential money laundering risks in the Bank, ensuring identification of suspicious activities and transactions during alerts investigation.
  • Provide advisory on TM and in general on suspicious transactions scheme and anomalous patterns to Business Department and Control Department in first line.
  • Review and update AML / TM / SAR policies and procedures, according to local AML regulation, industry best practices and recent ML /TF scenarios.
  • Ensure the completion of thematic reviews conducted by Monitoring and Screening Department.
  • Timely execution of tasks and instructions received from Head of AFC. 

The skills required are:

  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring, AML, Compliance, or Financial Crime within the financial sector.
  • Solid understanding of AML regulations, including UIF requirements and international standards (FATF, EU AML directives).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify suspicious patterns and assess financial crime risks.
  • Proficiency in English.
