Your Job:
The Aerobics/Group Fitness Instructor coordinate and instruct various fitness classes including but not limited to: cardio-interval, stretch and flex/tone, dynaband, basic/intermediate/advanced step, weight training, yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Zumba, etc.
Your Job Requirements:
• Knowledge or general fitness principles, components of appropriate aerobic exercise session (i.e., cueing, choreography, communication and music skills; safe exercise evaluation) required
• Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (Basic Life Support)certification required
• ACE, ACSM, Cooper Clinic/Institute, AFFA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) Certified Group Fitness/Aerobics Instructor
• 6 months minimum previous teaching experience as an aerobics/group fitness instructor within the health/fitness industry
