Our NextGen Fixed Income Management Program is a unique opportunity designed to develop the next generation of all-round specialists. Over the course of two years, you will gain experience through multiple rotations. When graduating from the program, the knowledge and network you will build during the program will help you decide in what role you’d like to continue within your career.
This role provides:
Diverse Rotations: You will develop valuable experience and investment knowledge as you rotate through several departments. Your rotation selections are determined based on your interests as well as business needs.
Comprehensive Training: Benefit from structured training programs that cover essential topics and advanced concepts in asset management. Not only will you focus on behavioral skills such as personal branding and relationship management, but also technical skills such as AI and Excel.
Capstone Projects: Work on real-world projects that will challenge you and enhance your practical investment skills.
Mentorship and Support: Receive guidance from experienced professionals who are dedicated to your growth and success.
What will you be doing?
Rotations, Learning & Support:
Participate in structured rotations across teams like Portfolio Management, Marketing, Research, Compliance, Operations and Risk as part of the two-year program.
Receive guidance and coaching from rotation managers, business mentors and dedicated buddies in each rotation.
Benefit from regular feedback, check-ins and HR support throughout the program.
Specific responsibilities will vary by rotation and may include:
Research:
Develop quantitative and analytical skills as it relates to investments.
You will be given the opportunity to develop your research skills through formal and informal training as well as coverage of a small universe of companies.
Participate in project-based work aimed at enhancing research processes and analytical frameworks.
Interact closely with senior analysts, portfolio managers and other members of the investment team to support research activities.
Portfolio Management:
Gain exposure to Leveraged Loans, High Yield, Private Equity and/or Distressed Debt from a portfolio management perspective.
Build knowledge on financial modelling on companies and sectors.
Work with portfolio managers in analyzing and evaluating portfolio positioning, relative value trading and valuation.
An opportunity of an assignment covering a company going through restructuring situation.
Monitor market developments to help identify potential investment opportunities.
Develop an understanding of the market and study potential investment opportunities.
Marketing:
Support the firm’s marketing activities.
Collaborate with portfolio managers and sales teams to create marketing literature such as presentations, web content, thought pieces, positioning documents, brochures, fact sheet, commentaries and press releases.
Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of sales campaigns for institutional and intermediary audiences.
Support digital marketing activities, including social media posts, website content, and mass emails.
Work with teams across the company to draft and update RFP/DDQ content and participate in media relations efforts.
We’d love to hear from you if you posses:
A Bachelor’s degree (or soon will), preferably in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, Accounting or related field.
A demonstrated affinity with Investments, Finance, Operations and want to pursue a career in these areas.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data in reports and written analysis.
A can-do mindset, takes initiative and have the ability to build relationships and work with colleagues across different divisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A strong team orientation and willingness to support colleagues.
Have an understanding of data and research tools (including Bloomberg).

The salary for this position generally ranges between $62,000 - $70,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, the position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan / Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
