We are currently seeking an A&E Consultant for the MENA region to be located in Dubai, UAE. This role is centered on supporting regional business development efforts and managing key relationships within the MENA architecture and engineering (A&E) community.
The A&E Consultant will report to the Regional Business Development Manager A&E and will be responsible for supporting the sales team by nurturing and responding to pre-qualified sales opportunities and assisting in the process to close sales orders. The Consultant will also assist with the sourcing, qualifying, and managing of distributors, integrators, and resellers in the assigned MENA territory.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include supporting and executing on regional business development and sales objectives:
Sales Support & Nurturing: Support the regional channel sales team, regional end user team, by nurturing and responding to pre-qualified sales opportunities and assisting in the process to close sales orders.
Pipeline & Tracking: Assist in tracking sales activities with all channel and end-user opportunities using Avigilon’s Salesforce.com lead and project tracking software database.
Design & estimations: Help prepare designs and estimations for prospective customers and consultants and assist with gathering information on terms of sales and delivery dates.
Channel and Partner Engagement: Support the sourcing, qualifying, and managing of distributors, integrators, and resellers in the assigned MENA territory.
Market Coverage: Assist in overseeing and managing the sale of Video Security and Access Control (VS&A) products and services within the specified territory.
Technical Guidance: Provide first-level technical and product guidance to customers (end-users) and consultants
Training: Assist in providing product and technical training to consultants, and end-users on VS&A products.
Market Intelligence: Compile data on competitive products and pricing within the MENA market and report it back to the regional and head offices, maintaining a working knowledge of competitive offerings.
Influencer Outreach: Assist the Manager in identifying key surveillance market influencers within the MENA region and supporting outreach to establish contact and demonstrate product utility.
Marketing Support: Participate in the development of basic regional training or marketing materials.
Trade Shows: Attend local or regional trade shows and professionally participate in booth duty at various marketing events.
Travel: Travel is required throughout the MENA region (Estimate: 25% - 50%).
Experience: 5 years of experience in sales support, channel management, or business development, preferably within the video security, IT, or technology solutions industry.
Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the MENA business landscape is a significant asset.
Skills: Proven customer focus, strong organizational skills and presentation skills.
Advanced AUTOCAD knowledge and Basic BIM.
Demonstrated knowledge of the local/regional consultant ecosystem.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
