ABOUT PROJECT HEALTHY MINDS
Project Healthy Minds is a mental health tech non-profit startup. We are pioneering a first-of-its-kind model: applying technology to address one of the biggest social issues of our time: the growing mental health crisis. We believe in a simple but profound idea: that it should be as easy to find mental health services as it is to book a flight or a restaurant reservation. That's why we're building the world’s first digital marketplace for finding mental health services that are right for you.
To do that, we work with some of the most inspiring and influential leaders in America - business titans, tech entrepreneurs, clinicians and scientists, musicians, artists, athletes, media stars, policymakers, and more. Because we believe that the world's most complex challenges require interdisciplinary teams and solutions.
We are backed by a powerhouse of industry-leading Board of Directors and Advisory Council Members who are passionate, hands-on, and dive into the important work with us.

ABOUT THE ROLE
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re hiring an Advocacy Associate who will support the growth of Project Healthy Minds’ programs, campaigns and initiatives, including workforce mental health, sports x mental health, and other cross-functional organizational initiatives.
This person should have four superpowers:
- Partner Relationship Management – The skill to nurture relationships with corporate partners, brand leads, member companies, and internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted point of contact who understands their unique needs while gathering valuable feedback.
- Executive-Level Communication – The talent for creating clear communications for leadership (both internal and external) and developing materials that positively position our advocacy programs to external audiences.
- Operations & Systems Thinking – The capability to develop and maintain systems that keep multiple concurrent programs running smoothly – from CRM management to pipeline tracking to event coordination.
- Entrepreneurial Problem Solving – The flexibility to troubleshoot unexpected challenges with an innovative mindset, identifying opportunities within obstacles and developing creative solutions that maintain momentum.
This role will report to the Director of Advocacy.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
Corporate Coalition & Member Engagement
- Manage day-to-day relationships with Corporate Coalition member companies – serving as a primary point of contact, addressing questions, gathering feedback, and ensuring initiatives meet their evolving needs.
- Support the development and execution of Corporate Coalition strategy, working closely with leadership to implement goals, milestones, and member engagement plans.
- Coordinate research activities on recruitment efforts for both member companies and academic partners.
- Develop compelling materials for prospective members, including presentations, one-pagers, and other assets that clearly articulate the coalition’s value proposition.
- Assist in the planning and execution of coalition recruitment events and convenings.
Partnership & Pipeline Support
- Support the brand partnerships pipeline by tracking outreach, managing follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records in pipeline tools.
- Draft and distribute partnership communications, proposals, and follow-up materials.
- Coordinate meeting logistics and prep materials for brand partnership meetings.
- Conduct research on prospective brand and corporate partners to inform outreach strategy.
Cross-Functional Operations
- Establish and maintain operational systems including meeting schedules, documentation of best practices, and partner onboarding processes.
- Support Advisory Council engagement on a project-by-project basis, coordinating outreach and tracking advisor involvement.
- Assist with event production and logistics for advocacy-related programs, including World Mental Health Day and salon dinners.
- Create and distribute coalition and program communications, internal updates, and external-facing content.
- Identify and troubleshoot emerging challenges across programs with an entrepreneurial mindset.
ABOUT YOU
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
This role is built for someone with big ambitions. You're looking for the kind of opportunity where the ceiling is as high as your effort and the mission is worth the climb. You want mentorship, exposure, and the chance to prove you can lead – and you're willing to put in the work to get there.
- Operationally rigorous – You bring structure to ambiguity and thrive managing complexity. You maintain airtight partnership pipelines, build meeting prep docs that anticipate every question, track follow-up threads across dozens of contacts, and create systems where none exist. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. You don’t just manage to-do lists – you build the processes that make entire programs run smoothly. When something breaks, you fix it before anyone notices. When something’s missing, you build it.
- Intellectually curious – You’re the person who reads the article, then reads the study it cited. You don’t need to be a clinician, but you have genuine curiosity about how corporate advocacy, workforce mental health, and social impact intersect. You want to understand the “why” behind what we do – not just execute the “what.” You can speak credibly about mental health as both a human issue and a strategic business priority, and you’re always deepening that understanding on your own.
- An owner, not a renter – This is the most important mindset we’re looking for. You treat your workstreams like they’re yours – because they are. You don’t wait to be told what’s next; you identify the gap, propose a solution, and drive it forward. You take pride in follow-through and hold yourself to a higher standard than anyone else would hold you to. When leadership is pulled in ten directions, you’re the person keeping things moving.
- A polished communicator – You can draft compelling invite copy for a C-suite dinner, prep a one-pager for a Fortune 500 prospect, and send a warm follow-up email to a brand CMO – all in the same afternoon. Your writing is clear, concise, and adapts naturally to different audiences and formats.
- An ambitious builder – You’re not just looking for a job but a platform to grow professionally while making an impact. You have entrepreneurial drive and see this role as an opportunity to develop your skills, expand your network, and help build something transformative.
