Te tūranga – The role
In this role you will bring your financial services and sustainability experience to evaluate the effectiveness of the New Zealand financial system in enabling economic wellbeing and prosperity for all New Zealanders.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for bringing financial stability expertise, economic thought leadership and analytical insights to the team, supporting the development and delivery of our climate strategy along with our financial inclusion and Te Ao Māori workstreams.

We’re looking for a collaborative worker, who can work to deadlines effectively. To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant professional experience in financial regulation, policy, economics, strategy development or research/insights fields
Understanding of climate change, sustainability or sustainable finance in government and the financial sector
Strategic mindset with experience developing and delivering outcome-based strategies and policies
The proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and influence at a senior and strategic level
Organisational and project management skills to manage workload of self and others and deliver projects
