The Advisor, Retail Channels (Process Improvement) is responsible for shaping and executing initiatives that enhance performance, efficiency, and customer experience across retail channels. This position serves as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance, data-driven insights, and strategic recommendations aligned with the company’s channel strategy. The Advisor leads and supports cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term vision. This position works hybrid and reports to Oriental Center in San Juan, PR.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead strategic initiatives that support the evolution and optimization of retail channels.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations based on performance assessments, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure channel initiatives are aligned with broader business objectives.
- Monitor adoption and impact of implemented strategies; propose enhancements as needed.
- Define and communicate clear project objectives, milestones, and success metrics. Manage project constraints including cost, time, scope, and quality.
- Facilitate kick-off meetings and strategic planning sessions with internal stakeholders. Coordinate and oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Support the creation of work orders and service requests to meet evolving channel needs.
- Anticipate potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Participate in cross-departmental initiatives to ensure channel needs are represented.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and client satisfaction surveys to assess impact.
- Analyze channel performance metrics and develop dashboards to support decision-making.
- Identify emerging trends in customer behavior and retail technology to inform strategy.
- Develop business cases for new initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections.
- Serve as liaison between retail channels and technology teams to ensure digital solutions meet operational needs.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to promote adoption of new tools, processes, or strategies.
- Support change management efforts related to channel transformation projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, data science, or related field required.
- Three (3) years of experience in strategic advisory roles, business analysis, or project leadership.
- Experience in retail, banking, or customer experience environments is a plus.
- Fully bilingual – English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Visio, and other business tools.
- Experience working with data visualization tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
