We have an exciting opportunity for a Advisor Marketing Specialist! In this role, you will be a collaborative partner to a portfolio of advisor teams, driving the creation, execution, and optimization of marketing strategies that support business growth. As the primary marketing connection for your assigned advisor teams, you will bring creativity, marketing expertise, and proactive guidance to campaigns across email, social media, events, and more.

This is a Remote position, however, candidates must be located in either the EST (preferred) or CST time zones. This role will require travel 2-7 times per year to support team initiatives and events.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $68,000.00 to $80,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
 

Strategic Support for Advisor Teams

  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing lead for 8 advisor teams, becoming deeply familiar with each team’s goals, voice, services, and growth opportunities.

  • Conduct proactive campaign planning sessions with advisor teams to assess needs, provide recommendations, and ensure marketing initiatives align with team-level business goals.

  • Collaborate closely with Advisor Marketing Consultants to ensure team marketing plans align with regional growth priorities.

  • Support multiple teams in executing marketing goals with a particular focus on event coordination.

  • Align advisor team marketing plans with corporate marketing programs and drive adoption of key initiatives using the Advisor Marketing Platform and available content resources.

  • Navigate Salesforce to pull reports, analyze dashboards, present client data, create campaigns, and report on outcomes and budgets.
     

Campaign Execution & Innovation

  • Lead campaign planning and execution using platforms such as FMG Suite, Canva, Wistia, Wrike, and Salesforce.

  • Coordinate collateral development, content customization, digital campaigns (email, social media, web), event support, and vendor communications.

  • Collaborate with Creative, Brand, Web, and Compliance teams to ensure timely execution and approval of marketing assets.

  • Track campaign performance, share insights and optimization opportunities with teams and marketing leaders.

  • Leverage AI tools to enhance content development, generate new ideas, and streamline recurring marketing processes.
     

Communication & Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors and the advisor marketing team, identifying and sharing best practices and success stories within the advisor community.

  • Serve as a knowledge resource for assigned teams’ marketing strategies and executions.

  • Keep internal stakeholders (including Advisor Marketing Consultants and leadership) informed of key campaigns, challenges, and advisor feedback.

  • Document work to provide transparency for consultant team members while allowing them to focus on high-level strategy.

  • Regularly educate advisors and staff on marketing recommendations, collateral, and tools to support all stages of the client and prospect lifecycle.

  • Research relevant trends within and beyond the industry to bring fresh recommendations to advisor teams.

  • Take ownership of key advisor enablement projects to continually enhance marketing offerings and capabilities.
     

Organic Growth Team Collaboration

  • Participate in team meetings, creative brainstorms, and campaign showcases.

  • Contribute to the development of new tools, templates, and campaign frameworks.

  • Identify and help scale successful ideas across advisor teams.

  • Support team initiatives as needed, contributing beyond core responsibilities.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years in marketing or sales enablement preferred

  • Financial services marketing experience beneficial but not required

  • Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Wistia, Wrike, Canva, and FMG Suite preferred

  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new applications, technologies, and AI tools; proficiency with CRM systems required, Salesforce a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple team relationships and priorities concurrently

  • Excellent writing, visual storytelling, and content development skills

  • Willingness to travel 2–7 times per year to support team initiatives and events

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state, pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as this level is $67,300.00 - $97,600.00. The Advisor Marketing Specialist role is compensated through a combination of base salary and variable pay, with total compensation aligned to performance metrics and company goals.
