POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Event Marketing Advisor, you play a key role in the design and execution of events, marketing and partnership initiatives that support the business objectives and influence of the BDC brand. In close collaboration with the field teams, business units as well as regional and national teams, you will act as an expert consultant in event marketing, ensuring consistent, efficient activations aligned with the brand's standards.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Manage integrated event projects, from the definition of needs to delivery, while respecting BDC's budgets, deadlines and standards.

  • Design, plan and execute in-person, hybrid and virtual events (conferences, panels, workshops, webinars, networking events), regionally or nationally.

  • Propose new initiatives and event programs aligned with business priorities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure the effective activation of events and sponsorships, with clearly defined objectives, messages and indicators of success.

  • Advise, coordinate and negotiate with external suppliers and partners.

  • Represent BDC at events and provide an engaging and professional brand presence.

  • Ensure a consistent, distinctive and memorable participant experience.

  • Analyze results, track performance indicators, and make data-driven optimization recommendations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 3 years of experience in marketing, specifically in events or partnerships

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently.

  • Proven ability to analyze needs, make recommendations and deliver concrete solutions.

  • Creativity, innovation and results-oriented.

  • Strong interest in the use of artificial intelligence to improve processes and performance.

  • Strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills.

  • Very good command of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint, advanced level).

  • Experience in programming or designing event experiences.

  • Knowledge of event management tools (an asset).

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, marketing or related field.

  • Excellent ability to synthesize, popularize and communicate complex information.

  • Curiosity, openness to new technologies and ability to carry a vision and influence partners.
