What you'll do
Sport Chek is seeking a creative and dynamic Advisor, Localized Marketing to help bring our brand to life across communities. If you are passionate about grassroots engagement, local marketing, and building meaningful connections, this opportunity is for you! You will collaborate closely with PR, influencers, social media, brand strategy, store teams, local organizations, and other cross-functional partners to deliver tailored brand experiences. Your efforts will drive foot traffic, foster community ties, and strengthen our brand presence both online and offline. With your keen understanding of regional and cultural nuances, you will ensure all local initiatives are relevant and impactful, while supporting national campaigns at the local level and providing valuable insights for future activations.
Assist in planning and executing localized marketing playbooks, including store grand openings, community events, outreach, and local media initiatives.
Coordinate logistics and manage vendor relationships for field activations and events.
Lead localized marketing projects that reflect the unique regional and cultural characteristics of each community.
Work collaboratively with store operations, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with local sports organizations, schools, and community groups to foster grassroots engagement.
Support the rollout of national campaigns at the regional level, ensuring all initiatives are locally relevant.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of field marketing, PR, and social efforts, providing actionable feedback and insights.
Uphold brand consistency and deliver an outstanding customer experience across all local and social channels.
Support social content and influencer partnerships, including outreach, contract management, reviews, and reporting.
Develop content calendars and reporting templates to support the team’s efforts in localized marketing, social media, and PR.
What you bring
3–4 years of experience in field marketing, event planning, or retail marketing.
Demonstrated ability to execute local campaigns and community events.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to collaborate with store teams and external partners.
Solid understanding of regional marketing dynamics and consumer behaviour.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related discipline.

Broadband Salary Range: $53,000.00 – $88,000.00.
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000.00 and $68,000.00. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role
