What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Job Summary

The Advisor, Financial Planning and Analysis – Transformation Office is responsible for assisting their manager in quantifying, forecasting, and tracking all net synergies (cost savings, new deals, one time or recurring additional expenses, contract negotiations, etc.) related to the recent Advanced Diabetes Supply Group (ADSG) acquisition within at-Home Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates net synergy tracking for individual initiatives, consolidated reporting on actuals, forecast, and budget

  • Finance partner to business leaders, working directly on initiative updates for reporting and presentation purposes

  • Prepare support for monthly meetings with individual business leaders on their initiatives and with all business leaders for consolidated view

  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of net synergy business reports and/or enterprise reporting requirements, to ensure integrity of information and keep management updated on key information

  • Pull support and submit integration expenses monthly to SEC accounting

  • Prepare materials for the VP of Finance, SVP of ADSG/Edgepark, and other business leaders, including providing financial analysis and commentary

  • Employ a process improvement mindset to deliver efficiencies across work areas

  • Work cross-functionally across the AHS business to understand process impacts to net synergy financials

  • Work closely with ADSG/Edgepark FP&A team and AHS Consolidations team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; ability to communicate effectively with personnel at various levels

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to navigate ambiguity effectively

  • High sense of urgency and responsiveness

  • Demonstrated accountability and ownership of responsibilities

  • Strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done

  • Experience in Tableau, SQL, SAP and Oracle is preferred

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $115,500
