We are seeking an experienced Advisor to join Enbridge’s Superior Great Lakes based Engineering Records team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure engineering records are reviewed for accuracy, traceability, and completeness. It will involve improving our interactions with stakeholders by effectively managing our standard requirements and associated procedures, and finally it will also provide training internally to the internal records team providing oversite to workload tracking.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform processing, quality, and vendor verification of technical records to ensure accuracy, traceability, and completeness.

  • Lead stakeholder engagement with project and regional staff to ensure record requirements are understood and followed.

  • Lead internal training for record requirements and turnover processes.

  • Support the management of change for the engineering records standard and procedures.

  • Monitor project completion dates to mitigate delays with record turnover.

  • Coordinate with internal team members to ensure operational readiness acceptance is closed out efficiently.

  • Digitize any hard copy records that need to be scanned for searchability.

  • Support turnover enhancements to transitory and permanent repositories.

Who You Are:

  • Related university technical degree in engineering and minimum of four or more years of experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, inspector certification and pipeline related experience.

  • Experience creating data visualizations, dashboards, and other information products for clients using BI/analytics software, including any or all: SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Visual Investigator, MS Power BI.

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills working collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts.

  • Working knowledge of operations, construction, engineering design, asset maintenance, and process safety as they relate to records management and construction drawings.

  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements associated with constructing and operating facilities and pipeline assets.

  • Extensive computer work.

  • Approximately 10% of travel may be required to field offices, business offices, or conferences within Canada and the U.S.; valid passport is required.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
