This is a non-union positionWe are looking for an Advisor Drafting and Quality Assurance who will provide senior level technical guidance and expertise in support of day to day drafting work. This includes assigning work to internal teams and coaching/mentoring them to complete the work. The role is also responsible to perform quality assurance reviews for drafting.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 CAD based upon experience. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
What You Will Do:
Assign drafting work to drafting team to maintain workflow efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to drafting team.
Perform quality assurance reviews on Construction Planning Workbooks, Maximo Work Orders, drafting OTC packages, and completed construction drawings and markups.
Ensure adherence to drafting standards and accuracy of technical documentation.
Assist in the coordination and delivery of training sessions for drafting and markup teams.
Schedule, create, and present monthly updates on process changes and drafting/markup-related information.
Act as a liaison with the Construction Alignment team to provide input on standards, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational drafting standards.
Who You Are:
College diploma or university degree in a technical/engineering program with a preference for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Architecture disciplines.
Five (5) or more years of work experience designing and drafting natural gas facilities using Bentley and AutoCAD software.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret field notes, As-laids, service tickets from all areas within the EGD Franchise area.
Experience with Maximo software.
Experience with Project Wise software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate and manage change.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office applications.
Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
Ability to assign and monitor work.
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Occasional business travel may be required.
Occasional overtime travel.
