Wealth Distribution Advisor Consultant
The Wealth Distribution Advisor Consultant is responsible for maintaining current client assets, cross selling products and converting prospects to clients within a defined geographic territory. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for all phases of the sales process, including outbound sales calls, email correspondences and advisor follow ups. This job partners with Advisor Consultants and Regional Managers to proactively grow sales through phone and web conference meetings and face-to-face advisor meetings.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develops consultative relationships with financial advisors, branch office managers and sales managers to drive revenue within assigned territory.
  • Promotes the offered suite of products to clients and prospects via phone, email and web conference.
  • Supports broad campaigns and initiatives by the US Wealth Advisory Group on the entire product suite including Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds, Closed End Funds, Exchange Traded Funds, Alternatives, DCIO, etc.
  • Determines best practices for meeting sales objectives and distributes sales updates to the internal team on a regular basis.
  • Monitors activity in the customer management system to ensure information is accurate and updates are managed efficiently.
  • Collaborates with IACs, other Hybrid ACs, ACs and RM’s to effectively manage time between territory activity in the field/phone and internal resources.
  • Maintains significant knowledge of the financial markets and articulates investment discipline with an understanding of the overall process and a focus on specific portfolios.

  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
FINRA Registrations
  • SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63; Series 65; Series 66
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of wholesaling distribution experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of wholesaling distribution experience

  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 (or combination of 63 & 65); can be obtained within 90 days of hire

  • Bachelor's degree

  • A strong combination of sales and analytical skills

  • Significant knowledge of the financial markets, both equity and fixed income, and the ability to articulate investment discipline with a deep understanding of the process and specific portfolios

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to profile clients

  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills; ability to analyze and prioritize large amounts of information

Base Pay Range: $80,000/yr - $120,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
