At least 6-7 years’ experience in business, having supported sales, with a well-developed understanding of trending, forecasting and analyzing sales metrics and data
BCom or BSc degree in business/equivalent
Excellent business and financial acumen which includes reporting, budgets, sales strategy and forecasting
Proven ability to extract insights, trends and themes from data and ability to communicate the storyboard and guide the direction of the end user in a succinct and efficient manner.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills are required.
Must have advanced skills using Microsoft Office tools such as manipulating complex Excel formulas, pivot tables, and charts to provide detailed analytical reports. Solid knowledge using Power Point and managing presentation materials.
Salesforce.com, Access and Tableau experience is preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to analyze AND synthesize data, see opportunities for greater insights and an innate curiosity to ‘connect-the-dots’ in data and concepts.
Strong communication, excellent project management skills.
Proven success in a role as a strategic thinker with strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Ability to interact with and influence senior management based upon business insights.
Experience with CRM tools, sales processes and methodologies.
Impact You'll Make:
Sales Analytics & Insights
Extract, analyze, and interpret revenue trends and key performance insights using internal systems such as Salesforce and other core data sources.
Create and evolve revenue reports of trends, forecasts and variances to prepare content for analyzing and benchmarking performance across the regions, increasing sales performance or remediating downward trends.
Identify directional trends (upward or downward) and recommend strategies to capitalize on growth or mitigate declines across markets.
Deliver deep insights on top revenue‑driving clients to support segmentation strategy, key account focus, and Share‑Shift initiatives to ensure portfolio success.
Serve as the primary liaison with Finance to consolidate and report sales performance against quota.
Forecasting, Planning & Pipeline Management
Partner with Sales leadership to review and develop revenue plans, ensuring measurable targets and data‑driven confidence in forecast accuracy.
Develop and manage forecasting and pipeline reporting frameworks in collaboration with Sales leaders and FP&A.
Review pipeline health and forecast sufficiency against quotas, identifying gaps and signalling areas that require leadership attention.
Support the revenue planning process, ensuring alignment with business strategy and enabling Sales leaders with data‑driven insights to set informed growth targets
Supports the development of data‑driven business cases for new revenue opportunities and partners closely with Sales leaders, Product teams, and Regional experts to share and leverage commercial insights, best practices, and analytical IP across markets.
Sales Enablement & Productivity
Creatively influence and guide Africa Regions teams toward best‑practice sales reporting and adoption of performance‑driven behaviours.
Partner with the South Africa Sales Enablement team to support skills development, capability planning, and optimization of sales processes and business practices.
Work cross‑functionally with Solutions, Marketing, and Operations to maintain sales productivity and operational efficiency.
Maintain a strong understanding of TransUnion’s solutions, services, software, and systems to support effective analysis and enablement.
Support modelling for sales incentive programs, quota setting, and approvals, leveraging strong knowledge of revenue‑driving levers.
Performs other duties as assigned
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.TransUnion Job Title
