The Design Practices Ecosystem PMO is transforming engineering knowledge so teams can find and apply trusted technical guidance more quickly. We are seeking an Advanced Technology Information & Knowledge Management Lead to own taxonomy and metadata strategy, guide our knowledge services, and scale knowledge capabilities across engineering documentation — partnering with analytics and automation teams to improve discovery and relevance.
Position Responsibilities:
Define and steward taxonomy and controlled-vocabulary strategy for engineering knowledge
Act as the business owner for knowledge products: set vision, priorities, governance, and success metrics
Drive application of taxonomy and metadata across engineering documentation and promote consistent, reusable patterns
Partner with analytics, automation, and platform teams to ensure knowledge capabilities support search, discovery, and personalization needs
Establish and manage governance, stewardship responsibilities, and quality standards for metadata and vocabularies
Contribute to solution design and architectural discussions to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable knowledge systems
Define KPIs and monitor adoption, quality, and business impact of knowledge solutions
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Experience in a role that required building cross-functional consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
Proven experience as a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills, and a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts
9+ years of experience structuring of metadata schemas and controlled vocabularies, including taxonomies and ontologies
Experience developing, analyzing, and deploying Artificial Intelligence and related algorithms
Experience with SQL and Graph databases
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master's degree or higher
5 years of experience in Agile and Scale Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience in technical product management or product ownership, specifically in data science, AI, data products, or related technical domains
Experience integrating taxonomies with NLP/ML for personalization
Aerospace/defense experience
