Job Description

The Medical University of South Carolina - Center of Telehealth is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team of Advanced Practice Providers. In this role, the APP delivers high quality diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care to patients in Emergency Departments and Empath units across South Carolina through MUSC’s innovative virtual health platform. This position offers a unique opportunity to expand access to timely, patient centered care while advancing the future of telehealth on a statewide scale.

Required Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure eligible for South Carolina

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or PA with psychiatry experience

  • Minimum of two years of APP experience in psychiatry; emergency psychiatry preferred

  • Active BLS certification prior to start date

  • DEA and DHEC licensure prior to start date
