NeurosurgeryOverview:
Sentara Medical Group is recruiting a PA or NP to join our highly regarded Neurosurgery team in Norfolk, Virginia. Join an experienced team of 8 neurosurgeons and 12 Advanced Practice Providers who strongly value quality, collegiality, and teamwork. One year's experience in neurosurgery or neuro-critical care is preferred. Practice based at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Trauma Center and burn unit in Hampton Roads and the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Position Highlights:
●Rotating schedule to include occasional nights and weekends
●Nighttime and weekend differential
●Provide care for patients in a variety of settings including ED, NCCU, trauma, and medical floors
●Responsible for emergent bedside procedures
●Surgeries performed at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center and Sentara Virginial Beach General Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center
●Fully integrated EHR (Epic)
