$50.05 - $75.10Atrium Health/Wake Forest University is recruiting a full-time subspecialty PA or NP to join the Division of Gynecologic Oncology (GO) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals interested in caring for patients with gynecological malignancies. Our practice focuses on surgical care and chemotherapy administration for women with cancers of the uterus, ovary, cervix, vulva and vagina. We also follow patients with pre-cancerous conditions (dysplasia) and patients who are at increased risk for cancer. Additionally, patients with complex, non-cancerous conditions of the female reproductive tract such as endometriosis and benign pelvic masses are often referred to our practice.
As an APP in our practice, you will have your own template of patients while working alongside faculty gynecologic oncologists who can serve as a sounding board and mentor in real time. There is also an opportunity to care for patients in the inpatient setting and operating room if that is of particular interest.
The Division of Gynecologic Oncology continues to grow and expand our footprint regionally and nationally. Currently, the practice consists of five faculty members, four APPs, three RNs and additional support personnel. We also support learners on clinical service. There are two gynecologic oncology fellows, three OB/GYN residents and medical and PA students integrated into our care model. Therefore, you will be exposed to a surplus of educational opportunities such as lectures and real time clinical teaching that is seamlessly incorporated into patient encounters.
This position will be focused in Winston-Salem with an opportunity to work in Greensboro (not required) once our new practice site opens there in 2026-2027.
We pride ourselves on providing expectational patient care to patients who are experiencing serious medical conditions. It is extremely rewarding work with an opportunity to positively influence patient outcomes and experience. Our Division is very collaborative -- we are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team!
