Challenge yourself in a fast-paced environment! This internship offers hands-on experience across Marketing and Events, working alongside industry experts. Learn social media campaign management, event logistics, and communication strategies while contributing to real projects. Observe and interact with senior leaders, gaining valuable insights into the industry.

A Day in the Life:   

  • Supporting Marketing Communications and Events Team. (Assist with planning and execution of major events (e.g., Auto Shows, sponsorship activations)
  • Gain hands-on experience in the financial side of marketing and events by processing quotes, managing purchase orders, tracking invoices, and handling dealer billing (including credits). Learn vital financial processes and see how they impact real-world projects.
  • Support on events logistics (ie: information package, certificate of insurance) + ad hoc tasks (i.e. Auto Shows, sponsorship tracking status with sponsored NHL teams), vehicles logistics support.
  • General Marketing Tasks: Contribute to the broader marketing efforts by assisting with general marketing tasks, helping to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Invoice Management: Gain valuable experience in managing invoices for both brand and retail marketing initiatives, learning essential financial management skills along the way.
  • Social Media and Audience Engagement: Assist in managing social media platforms, engaging with audiences, analyzing competitive insights, and maintaining the organization's online presence, contributing to effective digital marketing strategies.
  • Work Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to enhance existing work processes and guidelines, contributing innovative ideas to streamline workflows and improve efficiency,
  • Ad Hoc Projects and Assignments: Take on additional tasks and projects as required throughout the internship, providing flexibility and exposure to various aspects of the organization's operations.

Who We’re Looking for:

  • The incumbent of this position is required to communicate effectively with managers, co-workers, dealers, and vendors. Exchange information with diplomacy when working with other personnel. Effective listening skills, good conflict resolution and presentation preparation skills and the ability to present information with diplomacy is also required.

Required:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with co-op/internship in Business or Marketing University Program.
  • Automotive knowledge and experience an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license is required

Hourly Rate Range:
$21.00 - $24.00

Hourly Rate Estimate: This range represents the minimum and maximum hourly rates applicable to interns in this program or role. The hourly rate offered will fall within this range and is determined based on the intern’s academic progress (years completed in school).

All employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screenings in accordance with Nissan policies and as permitted by applicable statutes and regulations.
