About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Lead Analyst – Security to join HARMAN HR Technology, as part of our broader Global Operating Model. As Lead Analyst – Security, you will bring data and security expertise to ensure the right frameworks and controls are in place across the organization. With the support of internal and external stakeholders, you will implement and maintain robust data assurance processes and security standards. The role will focus on hands-on configuration, technical design, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure Workday security aligns with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Implement and maintain scalable Workday security models across HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Workday SKYs, in alignment with the strategic direction set by Workday Security and Compliance Functional Owners.
  • Replicate Workday security standards and guidelines through the HR technology architecture.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday security frameworks, including domain and business process security policies, security groups, and user access management.
  • Support Workday security architecture reviews and contribute technical recommendations to enhance the overall security posture.
  • Collaborate with HR, other divisions, and Compliance teams to define and refine access controls, user provisioning, and segregation of duties.
  • Execute security configuration changes and maintain documentation for architecture, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments under the guidance of the Compliance Lead, ensuring adherence to internal and external compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Participate in Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring security considerations are addressed.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Workday security professionals.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 7+ years of experience with Workday, including at least 3 years focused on Workday security architecture.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Workday security frameworks and modules (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking).
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Pro in Security) are a plus.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with a preferred concentration in Business, Technology Services, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Workday certifications
