Job Description:
What you'll need to do:
Assist the customer with any issues or questions relevant to device onboarding to the Mist cloud.
Review and evaluate network cutover plans and provide remote assistance to the customer during the maintenance window.
Maintains the list of issues and solutions provided to the customers and sends a summary at the end of every engagement.
Assist the customer in making use of the Mist dashboard and premium analytics to proactively monitor their network.
Build and communicate the best practices as and when required.
Coordinate with cross-functional technology technical team to resolve any pending issue.
Look for opportunities for improvement in the products, documentation quality, and need for automation. Present these findings in appropriate forums.
Work in a 24x7 support environment including Weekends/Holidays as per the Business requirement.
What you need to bring:
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and customer handling skills.
Analytical skills to understand and correlate the network alerts, events or issues.
Good understanding of
‒ Wireless concepts such as RF and WiFi standards.
‒ Layer-2 technologies such as xSTP, EVPN, VxLAN, Ethernet, Dot1x, and ARP.
‒ Layer-3&4 technologies such as TCP/IP, VRRP, DHCP, DNS, Routing protocols, and SD-WAN.
‒ Firewall concepts such as traffic filtering, IDP, Access control, and NAT.
Knowledge of AI, ML, Python, and automation will be a plus.
Relevant Work Experience
Experience in managing and/or supporting WLAN, campus network infrastructure, and
monitoring system activities to prevent/troubleshoot problems in the network.
Experience in WLAN survey, identify and mitigating the Wireless interferences.
Work experience in an NOC environment.
Educational Qualification
Engineering Graduates with 5+ years of relevant work experience
Juniper product certifications (JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE) or industry equivalent are helpful.
Certification in wireless, cloud domain is an added advantage.
