ADP Celergo Payroll Consultant - Switzerland

We are seeking an experienced payroll consultant to support our Swiss operations transformation. Working closely with our HR Operations Director Europe, you will provide expert consulting services for this strategic mission combining technical expertise and change management.

1. ONGOING PAYROLL PRODUCTION SUPPORT

• Process corporate monthly payroll via ADP Celergo

• Collaborate with new provider for monthly retail payroll

• Guarantee reliability, deadlines and compliance

2. RETAIL PAYROLL MIGRATION PROJECT (Q2 2026 → Q3 2026)

• Integrate retail payroll with new provider (Q2 2026)

• Validate configuration, reporting and payroll calendars

• Prepare transition to ADP Celergo (Q3 2026)

• Ensure seamless service continuity during transitions

3. COMPLIANCE AUDIT & PROCESS OPTIMIZATION

• Conduct complete audit of Skechers ‘old payroll systems, ADP Celergo and new provider setup

• Identify and recommend solutions for legal compliance gaps

• Document and optimize payroll processes and procedures

• Design and implement quality control frameworks

4. TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION

• Retail time/absence system (Q2 2026)

• Corporate system deployment (Q3 2026)

• Provide user training and post-implementation support


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY 

No direct reports. 

CONSULTANT PROFILE

• 10+ years Swiss payroll consulting/specialist experience (ideally corporate +retail)

• Knowledge of ADP Celergo

• Expert-level understanding of Swiss employment law and social legislation

• Excel proficiency (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)

Project delivery experience:

• Experience in payroll system migrations/transformations

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent project streams

• Process audit and optimization expertise

• Independent working style with minimal supervision required but strong communication

skills for reporting

Consultant capabilities:

• Excellent communication skills (English mandatory, German, French and/or Italian

appreciated)

• Adaptability to changing requirements and tight deadlines

• Client-focused approach with stakeholder management experience

• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and train internal teams

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Workday experience

• Retail industry background

• Time & attendance system implementation experience

ENGAGEMENT TERMS

Duration: 6-9 months depending on project milestones

Location: Preferably Cham (Canton Zug) with flexible remote working arrangements

Start date: April 2026

Rate: Competitive daily/hourly rate commensurate with experience

Contract type: Freelance/consulting agreement

Reporting: Direct liaison with HR Operations Director Europe
