Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled Adobe Analytics Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of analytics solutions across digital platforms. This role involves managing Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Web SDK, and Tealium iQ Tag Management to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with web analytics, JavaScript, and implementation best practices to support data-driven decision-making and marketing effectiveness in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Software Requirements
Required:
Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics implementation (latest versions preferred)
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and HTML for tagging, tracking, and custom implementations
Experience integrating Adobe Analytics with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Web SDK
Working knowledge of Tealium iQ Tag Management for tag orchestration and management
Familiarity with data validation, device testing, and troubleshooting of tracking issues
Experience with version control tools such as GIT
Preferred:
Knowledge of Adobe Customer Journey Analytics and other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
Exposure to API integrations and data layer management
Experience with large transaction-based systems and complex analytics architectures
Overall Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement accurate tracking tags and analytics configurations across websites and mobile platforms
Collaborate with marketing, product, development, and analytics teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of data collection issues in Adobe Analytics and related tools
Optimize tracking implementations for performance, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy standards
Develop documentation on technical implementations, data flows, and change management procedures
Perform ongoing testing and validation of tracking across browsers, devices, and platforms
Lead integrations of Adobe Analytics with Adobe Experience Cloud and other marketing tools
Stay current with Adobe Analytics latest features, best practices, and industry trends
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
Required: JavaScript, HTML5 for implementing tracking and custom integrations
Preferred: Basic scripting in PowerShell or Python for automation tasks
Databases & Data Management:
Knowledge of data layer management, data validation, and integration with data warehouses for analytics reporting
Tools & Frameworks:
Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Web SDK, Tealium iQ, Tag Management solutions
Development & Testing Tools:
Git, Browser Developer Tools, Chrome DevTools, Testing platforms for cross-browser/device validation

Experience Requirements
Minimum of 4 years designing and supporting Adobe Analytics and Tag Management implementations
Proven experience deploying analytics tracking in complex enterprise environments supporting marketing and digital initiatives
Hands-on experience troubleshooting data collection issues and resolving discrepancies
Familiarity with analytics architecture supporting large-scale websites and mobile apps
Experience integrating Adobe Analytics with other Adobe Experience Cloud components and third-party systems preferred
Day-to-Day Activities
Develop and deploy tracking tags, data layer configurations, and analytics event setups
Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to specify tracking requirements and optimize data collection
Debug and troubleshoot analytics issues across browsers, devices, and platforms
Conduct regular testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Document tracking implementations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
Support analytics platform updates, version control processes, and deployment pipelines
Monitor data integrity, review reports, and recommend optimizations for measurement accuracy
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Web Development, or related field
4+ years of experience implementing Adobe Analytics and tag management solutions in enterprise environments
Certifications in Adobe Analytics or Adobe Experience Cloud solutions are preferred
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical analytics implementations supporting marketing success
