Major Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in a variety of recruiting efforts both on and off campus, including college fairs, high school visits, employer visits, information sessions, and community events.
Serve as a primary point of contact for group campus visits and general inquiries related to the admissions and application process, ensuring timely, accurate, and student-centered communication.
Represent Ivy Tech Richmond by effectively communicating the value of a community college education to prospective students, families, and community partners, with the goal of increasing inquiries, applicants, and overall enrollment.
Collaborate with local schools, community agencies, employers, and internal Ivy Tech Richmond personnel to support the implementation of the campus’ comprehensive recruitment plan.
Develop and coordinate engaging on-campus visit programs for both traditional and adult learners, offering opportunities for prospective students to experience Ivy Tech Richmond’s academic programs, campus resources, and supportive learning environment.
Serve as a campus lead for the Achieve Your Degree (AYD) program and identify area employers that offer employee tuition reimbursement for incumbent workers and maintain regular visibility with employees to promote continued education opportunities.
Manage, track, and engage with prospective students and targeted populations through consistent and strategic use of the College’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with community-based organizations and employers to enhance outreach, increase awareness, and strengthen enrollment pipelines across Ivy Tech Richmond’s service area.
Support the K-14 dual enrollment initiative by working with area schools and partners to expand early college opportunities and strengthen pathways to Ivy Tech Richmond.
Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Communicate in a timely and professional manner with all internal and external points of contact.
Activities may occur during regular business hours as well as select evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
One to two years of relevant experience demonstrating leadership qualities preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work successfully with diverse populations, including college and school personnel, teachers, prospective students, employers, and adult learners.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
Proficiency with computers and common office software required.
Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, preferred for use in a business or educational environment.
